I like salt ramen or konbu ramen and go there often. Ramen Hikari...The flavored eggs are also great. September 2022: When I went there for the first time in a while, I found that it had been renovated with a fried chicken restaurant on the first floor and an eat-in space for ramen on the second floor! Surprised. After ordering and paying on the first floor, go to the second floor. Self-serve water etc. on the 2nd floor. Wet tissues were also provided and it was clean. The stairs are steep, so please be careful. This is Minowa's favorite ramen shop, so I hope it continues to do its best here. I'm also going to eat fried chicken.

The restaurant is much smaller than it looks from the outside, and there are only 4 seats, so you should be prepared to wait. I had the special salt ramen (1000 yen). It was topped with the famous pink boiled egg, grilled pork, meatballs with cartilage, spinach, green onions, and the popular menma, and the soup was clear and thin with thin noodles. I'm sorry to say this, but the color of boiled eggs is a little creepy. 😅 However, the taste was excellent, with a good balance between the melty grilled pork, meatballs with crunchy cartilage, shrimp-flavored boiled egg, and crunchy menma, and the sweet and surprisingly strong flavor of the soup and thin noodles. It was really delicious and exactly what I expected. If it were nearby, I'd probably stop by from time to time. I don't often come to Minowa, but it's nice to come just for this store. Please let me know again. 😊

It's been a while since I've been to Hikari, but the menu has changed slightly and I get the impression that there are more customers than before. Even though it's such a hidden gem, I thought it would be a shame if there was a line (lol). I tried konbu ramen for the first time and it was really delicious. The seasoning of the soup and noodles is exquisite. It's not boring at all, but it's also good that it's not too bland either. I would like to try tanmen next time.
