This is a typical jiro-style ramen joint. One thing that is a little unique is that you can order either thin or thick noodles with no price change. Their standard bowl of ramen (which DOESN'T come with the typical massive portion size, for those of you who like jiro flavor but get full quickly) is around ¥750, which is an absolute steal. I expect that the college down the street has something to do with that. Overall, a great place to come if you love jiro flavors but can't handle the typical portion sizes.

The noodles are homemade and not so chewy, making them easy to eat. Vegetables and the most surprising thing is the thickness of the char siu It looks like a chunk of pork. A paper apron is essential because the juice will splash when the rabbit is eating horns. I was very satisfied with the amount of vegetables. The picture is tsukemen.

It doesn't have the gritty atmosphere that is typical of Jiro 🥹 I've always wanted to try MARUKO, which is recommended by my husband, so I visited the store the other day. Up until now, I haven't had much desire to eat Jiro-style food again, but I want to go here again! It tasted like that! On this day, the oil was so plump, sweet, and delicious that I regretted not adding more oil😭 Noodles are Jiro! A rare shop where you can choose thin noodles as well! I think I'll try thin noodles next time. I added 200g of noodles and a little more vegetables, but surprisingly there wasn't that much. The char siu is really chunky so it will make you hungry 😂
