This is a wonderful little family run restaurant. No English menu, and they don't really speak English at all, so get a Japanese friend to take you here. If there's nikomi on the menu, order it!

The best family izakaya in Asakusa. They don't speak japanese, so you have to go with a japanese friend. The Mama gave us the seats together with Japanese elders who spoke a good english. it was a wonderful evening with great food. (October 2016)

Meat tofu, steak, anything is delicious. Chiyu highball is also the best. The atmosphere of the shop is also wonderful. One of Asakusa's treasures.
