Outstanding food. Outstanding service. Best sashimi platter & tempura platter we have ever had with genuine hospitality, care and attention to customers from the owner. Food: The sashimi of 4 types of fishes and prawn were melted in my mouth like butter and surprisingly with almost no fishy taste, with the exception of mackerel slices which has stronger taste. The wasabi was freshly grated by the owner to our plate in front of us. The tempura platter was of asparagus, sweet potato, squid, fishes, prawn and... shirako!! We never had shirako before and never heard of this thing which turns out to be a delicacy in Japan. Lucky for us the owner explained to us what it was after we finished it. :D The soft buttery texture and milky taste of it was really the highlight of the platter. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great dining experience or a great night out with your love ones & friends. Oh, did I mentioned the cost was very reasonable? Yes it was! Ours were a 4 course dinner (for 2) with 4 glasses of plum liquor and the bill came out under ¥9000! Service: And if you are a foreigner that doesn't speak any Japanese like us, fret not. The owner, though speaks/understands very limited English, is very welcoming and accommodating. He patiently explained what was on the menu and showed us how to properly mix the sauces and enjoy the food.

Sashimi is the best, boiled food, grilled food, tempura, and hot pot are all wonderful, and the cost performance is also the best. Reservations are required for the back menu meat pot, pufferfish, and soft-shelled turtle.

No matter what you eat, it's always delicious and the service is friendly.
