Sumida City, Tokyo, Japan｜和・輪

A lovely little place close to the Sky Tree. I went there on my first night in Tokyo, and despite my not speaking any Japanese, I felt like I was at home. The sashimi platter was outstanding. The owners were super friendly. I'll be back! (shout out to the owner for being a Land Cruiser fan!)

Great food and drink

I passed by accidentally and went in with the mentality of trying something new. After the lady boss realized that we didn't speak Japanese, she patiently listened to our orders in body language. All the dishes are delicious, the meatball soup, grilled fish, and tamagoyaki are all very delicious. I accidentally tasted a delicious restaurant. I hope the boss and his wife will continue to work hard and eat there again if I have the opportunity.
