A shop that I visit every time I go on a trip to Kyoto. All the dishes here are very delicious. I especially like the Japanese pepper and Manganji pepper rice. Not only this, but everything is carefully cooked, and the satisfaction is high. About 10 minutes on foot from Shijo Kawaramachi, one station on the Hankyu line. It is well worth going all the way from the crowded Shijo Kawaramachi. I visit this restaurant every time I travel to Kyoto. All the food here is very delicious. It is well worth the trouble from the crowded Shijo-Kawaramachi.
I used it for dinner on the first day of my trip to Kyoto with my daughter. Although it was a weekday night, the place was filled with small groups of customers who were casually returning from work. I'm glad I made a reservation online in advance. I was guided to my desired counter seat. The inside of the store was lively and unpretentious, and it was so easy that you would want to order a variety of local products. but! All the dishes served are exquisite. The edgy sashimi has a thickness that I haven't seen in a while. You can really taste the flavor of the fish in just one slice, and you'll find yourself craving hot sake. There was a wide variety of sake, and the explanations were easy to understand. The time from ordering to service was quick, and it was a restaurant that quickly responded to your desire to eat as the meal progressed. The reason for one less star is the partition placed in front of the counter seats to prevent infection. It can't be helped because it was before the transition to Category 5. This is a restaurant that I would like to enjoy again at the open counter seats. Thank you for the meal lol.
