Small and cozy izakaya. Super recommended. Despite not having an English menu, they make the effort to explain everything they offer. Food offer ranges from skewers to small plates nicely done and prepared, it's a hidden gem if you are around the sake brewery district and want to get away from the typical ramen / soba / noodles menu, this is your place. The photos speak for themselves, I would go back a hundred times. Price wise is also very reasonable, with skewers at 100¥ and plates going from 400 to 1.000¥.

Good and cheap food. Nice choice of drinks. Stopped there during my way back to Uji. I used my simple Japanese for ordering so I don’t know if staff can speak English. Anyway no English menu is available. Another disadvantage is smoking inside but it’s kind of usual in Japan. Can recommend this pub for getting some drinks together with food.

Recommend all the dishes that I try and the fresh Sapporo beer too! Love them all!!!
