Kyoto, Japan｜Gottsu

Went to after work drinks with my friend and we were surprised they had an English menu and a waiter who spoke very good English. The atmosphere is as expected of a local izakaya, lively and comfortable. Food was good, but I don't particularly like fried squid in the first place...but the potato cheese was good for snacking! We played a dice game aiming for a free drink. Will come back soon!

Two people used it on a weekday night. When I asked for recommendations, I was told straw-grilled and sashimi, both at a very reasonable price and more delicious than I expected. Everything else was delicious, served very quickly, and we had a great time chatting with the friendly chef. There was a wide range of drinks on the menu, and even though the two of us drank quite a lot, I was surprised that the bill didn't exceed 10,000 yen.

Good ingredients and all the food was delicious!
