The price is not cheap, but the price-performance ratio is not bad. The sake in a bamboo tube is delicious. The soy sauce snails as an appetizer are highly recommended. I thought it was a gift but I still paid for it, but the taste is definitely good. I don’t know if it is a seasonal food. The grilled eel is very unique, with the feeling of separation of skin and meat, the outer skin is crispy, the eel meat is dense and melts in the mouth, and the grill is very delicious. It is highly recommended. I feel like people in Kyoto like to eat green onions very much. They sprinkle a lot of chopped green onions on everything. If you don’t eat green onions, you must make it clear to the store clerk in advance.

A little hidden gem on the 2nd floor of what looks like somebody's house. Food is excellent and service is great, although none of the staff speak English but they provide a photo menu for tourists to pick from. Izakaya style so not that many items on the menu but their ingredients are certainly of high quality. Highly recommended.
