Stopped in at 8pm on a Saturday night. The sign said no vacancies but the owner was able to seat the 2 of us. What an amazing night! It's a very small location with bar seating and 2 tables. The chef is a one man show, takes your order, cooks everything and is so kind and helpful even as tourist and him not speaking much English. The food was incredible! Our favorite meal on this trip so far. The vibe is so cozy and a place filled with locals we loved it. He has an English menu which was so helpful. Get the meat its incredible you would swear its waguy. Wow. Dishes are smaller and we ordered a lot and shared. Thanks for an amazing night, we left full and happy.

What a find for a low-key, local, yet exciting izakaya joint that offers modern fusion flavours. We had dishes that included the duck which was perfectly cooked, pink moist and tender, and had a light smoked flavour; the five sausages that was great to taste each individual flavour for sausage lovers; deep fried chicken which was lightly coated and crispy, juicy inside and embedded with herbs and spices; gyoza that was light and flavourful. It's run as a one man show with the very friendly owner running the entire restaurant by himself. So It's not a very large restaurant, with counter seats and a limited amount of tables, very suitable if not quite spacious for how is operated.

Small cozy restaurant near Toji Station. The restaurant is more like a tapas restaurant where you order many shifting small dishes. We can highly recommend the gyozas here! The rest of the food is also very recommendable.
