More Comments at Google MapSupremely delicious ramen served in a tiny unassuming restaurant tucked away in the suburbs of Kyoto. I've never had ramen quite like this before, and chances are you won't either! The owner was able to speak English and helped us order the famous Jenmen, which is absolutely delicious! The Kaarage was amazing as well!
Fantastic ramen done in a very unique style. The master calls it jamen. It is full of horumon and has a unique spicy, salty, smoke flavour. The master is a young man who took over the shop so an old master could retire. The service is quick and friendly and the master can speak English. I really recommend it.
My wife doesn't like spicy food, so I choose Chinese noodles. She said that if the seafood soup was delicious and the noodles were soft, even children would be able to eat it. Everything about the jangmyeon was delicious, including the rice. The handsome owner was polite and accommodating even the bossy customers. 2023.4 updated We went there shortly after it opened, but it was full and we had to wait for a while. Very satisfied with 1.5 large bowls of noodles + medium bowl of rice. The rice was so delicious that I ate half of it before I finished it. I thought it was a medium-sized portion, but it wasn't much because it was a "gohan" meal. By the time we finished eating, the line to get in had cleared. The store is very attentive to customers waiting to enter, and customers are satisfied with everything.
