Kitchen Kanayama is a teishoku restaurant by day and izakaya by night that just opened a few days ago. The lunch menu is not extensive but the prices are extremely reasonable (¥800 + tax for karaage chicken, a salad, pickles, soup, tororo, and rice). The karaage chicken is crispy and very flavourful. Smoking is banned during the day but I wish they had banned it at night too because Tofukuji is in need of more smoke-free places like the ramen shop next door.

Salmon don so yummy 😋 The sashimi is very fresh and sweet❤️

Tasteful restaurant,nice and friendly staffs,the chef is a cool girl,unforgettable experience!
