I'll be visiting again. I visited again to report on the dishes I missed from my last visit and some things the proprietress taught me. The food tastes as gentle and delicious as always. This time we visited as a group of 4, so we ordered a lot of food. The long-awaited shiso pasta is complete, and it feels like peperoncino without garlic. What impressed me was the white bud dressing that comes with the appetizer. The refreshing spiciness and aroma are amazing! Also, the bread that comes with the beef stew is homemade, but its chewy texture exceeds that of a bakery. Furthermore, the olive oil used on the bread is homemade sansho olive oil, which is also delicious! I decided to try these two products from the Japanese pepper series at home, so I bought some Japanese pepper fruits! I'll go report again! Last visit report↓ The landlady's gentle food. It is very tasty. Last time I was in Kyoto at the end of the year, I couldn't visit the store as it was closed, so I made a revenge visit. We started with an assortment of obanzai, then simmered pork horns and beans, green onion cheese gratin, burdock mitsuba kakiage, and more, all served with Fukui cold sake.When we paid the bill, we got change for a whopping 5,000 yen. impossible. The proprietress loves to cook, but I'm a little worried about her management. My only regret was that I forgot to order carbohydrates to finish the meal. I intended to ask for fried rice or pasta, but I got busy talking and it was already past closing time. Pasta with red onion and yuzu, and pasta with shiso leaves also sound enchanting. This shop and meeting my mom are my favorite memories from my trip! No matter what you eat, it's truly delicious, and you can feel the love and kindness of moms in the food, making it a restaurant you'll want to eat at and visit every day. On the way back from Nijo Castle, I was looking for a restaurant where I could eat obanzai. I found a store with no signboard in a residential area, just like a detached house, with the full name written in kanji on the nameplate, and the store name "Takeuchi" on the noren. I had an image that it would be difficult to enter because I could not see the inside, but when I went in, the proprietress was very friendly and laughed and said that it was difficult to enter (laughs). The quality of the food is high, and the appearance and cospa are the best! We had a pleasant meal while chatting. It has become a shop that I definitely want to visit when I come to Kyoto.
