A few steps away from the temple but well worth it. Hand made soba, side dishes and rice were awesome. Refreshing tastes and very satisfying. Can tell the owner really spent time developing his recipes. Cozy place. Definitely coming back the next time I’m in Kyoto.

What a great place! I wish I could eat here every day. Hand made dishes, buck wheat noodles, great sake - and even some old school hip hop to boot. Friendly to travelers and decent english too
