Super cool homey place to go for drinks and food. Owner grows and makes most of their own food. Homemade plum wine was delicious and one of the few places I’ve been to where you can try raw sake.

Nice drinks and kind staff. Their homemade umeshu (plum wine) is a must try. A very cozy atmosphere too. I had a good time here and will be back.

Happened to stumble upon this little gem as our guesthouse was in the area. It was quiet on a rainy Sunday night with only a few locals in attendance but it's exactly the kind of izakaya you hope to find when in Japan. The karage chicken was seriously great, as is their selection of sake!
