Counter seating only at this cozy restaurant featuring original Japanese dishes with the occasional touch of Western flair. The manager-chef started out his career cooking Western food, including three years as a pastry chef, before switching to Japanese cuisine, so everything on the menu has a special something above and beyond expectations. Each amazingly delicious dish is served with expert presentation. I recommend you visit with a Japanese speaking friend as the menu is in Japanese only.

Feedback from my daughter: Loved it, it was awesome, everyone was awesome. Exactly the same sentiment from my son and me. Food is awesome. So many good dishes were delivered to us, some of which we hadn't even ordered! We got to talking with customers next to us and the owner overheard me saying I was enjoying sake and he brought over a glass unbidden. Whether you're ordering basic edamame or horse sashimi, or anything in between, it will be prepared with pride and delivered to you with a humble serving of excellence. The wagyu salad is beyond words. Thank you for having us.

Oishii! Delicious, friendly locals joint. We walked in and it was like Cheers, everyone including the customers greeted us and we made new friends. The food was incredible and slow cooked for us. Small place, and absolutely perfect. Definitely worth stopping by!
