Kyoto, Japan｜Guesthouse TaroCafe

The Tarocafe Inn is situated nicely between several of the local train stations which allows easy access to both Kyoto and Nara (as well as anywhere else using the Kyoto Station, but those are the only two I visited) as well as being close to some of the major bus drop off points from Tokyo. The staff are a delight to deal with, as they are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are shared amongst several guests, which you should be expecting if you have booked a room. They are, however, up a rather narrow staircase which you should be aware of if it affects your decision. I personally loved the shower room, which you literally have to climb into through a small door, but this may not be for everyone as I could see there being access problems for certain people. Overall, however, I have loved my stay and will definitely be coming back here next time I visit Kyoto.

If you are looking for a traditional japanese style accomodation, It is a cosy and nice place. Staffs are great. I wanted to stay more but already reserved.
