``Torisei'' is also available in places like this. It is conveniently located right under Kyoto Tower and has open tables in a food stall village style with other shops. On this day as well, a single office worker-style customer on his way home from work enjoyed the unblended sake and yakitori deliciously. My personal recommendation is ``Sunazuri-Salt-''. The method of cooking, the exquisite sprinkle of salt, and the unique cut make for a soft and delicious dish. And above all, I am happy that the shichimi of the condiment is one of the three major shichimi in Japan, the shichimi of the local Kyoto "Shichimiya". Torisei's yakitori and Shichimi-ya's shichimi go perfectly together! (If you go early, you can also buy shichimi at Isetan after your meal.) The atmosphere of the restaurant is not comparable to the main store in Fushimi, but if you want to enjoy Kyoto yakitori near the station, this is the place.
