This place is very friendly, especially for foreign tourists. English menu is available, and the staff can speak English. The miso dip for the cabbage is perfect. Sashimi is good too! Best experience.

Wonderful atmosphere and outstanding food. I'm not Japanese, but two patient chefs helped me choose my desired set of dishes. It's just a perfect place for the first evening in Kyoto... and also for the next! Great for tempura lovers.

We had a wonderful meal here and they are extremely kind. Only non Japanese people this evening but we felt very welcome. The food was delicious and the service very kind.
