Kyoto, Japan｜Kyo Kamigamo Mankawa

Super fancy restaurant where you need a reservation way in advance but we were lucky to find space. They serve local produce of Kyoto and it was super delicious. Each dish was so flavourful and I will never hate eggplant again. The food here is mostly vegetarian, however I think they make use of fish broth. I would really recommend this restaurant.

The last time I used it was four years ago, and it is a restaurant where you can eat delicious Kyoto vegetables. The Japanese sake is also made from Kyoto and is very satisfying. Whenever I come to Kyoto, I always stop by.

It is said that the owner started this restaurant because he likes to eat. An old private house is a restaurant, or rather, a tatami room. The shopkeeper is doing it alone, so I recommend it only to people who don't mind taking time.
