Very peculiar bar close to Demachiyanagi Station. You can stand at the counter or sit down at the tables. Huge selection of drinks and many food options. Prices are good, and the atmosphere of the place is fantastic. It is possible to smoke inside. The place is not big and it's usually crowded, if you come on a Friday or a Saturday night you may not find a seat.

I'm not going to say too much, because I don't want to spoil the fun. Super eclectic izakaya/bar. Best in Kyoto, and *way* off the tourist trail. Have a couple beers and lose yourself in the bathroom.

Small, hidden restaurant close to the train station that serves delicious and affordable food in a fun, abstract, hip restaurant! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend!
