One of my favourite eating experiences in Kyoto. The owner is friendly and welcoming. Trust his recommendations and he will not disappoint! Food and drinks are more than reasonably priced and extremely delicious. Please do check it out as an alternative to izakayas in more popular tourist spots for a more homely and authentic experience.

Amazing food! God I loved it! The hosts were also extremely kind!

This cosy lovely place had the three best things I've ever tried: - Nasu (eggplant) cooked and seasoned to silky perfection - Agedofu (fried tofu in broth) crispy outside, soft inside, paired with an amazing soy broth - Oden (mixed soy-sauce soup with a variety of vegetables or meat you can choose from) everything was superbly tender, especially the daikon, tofu and beef. The owners were very welcoming. The place was calm and nicely lit.
