Small and cozy Izakaya. Food were absolutely delicious!!! Highly recommend!!

I visited an izakaya in Otsu in the fall of 2019 for a workshop. It's been over three years now, but it's still a memorable place that always comes up when people talk about Otsu. I stopped by for a quick bite to eat and drink by myself, and the food was so delicious that I made another visit the next day. On the second day, the president had some free time and we were able to talk about various things, and I think that my Japanese conversation skills improved considerably as a result. I still remember that when I told them I was from Korea, they served me kimchi. We were talking while eating, so I don't have any proper photos of the food or the restaurant. If you are coming to Otsu, we highly recommend you to try it out. I was disappointed that I didn't have a chance to go to Otsu due to the coronavirus, but there will be a conference in Otsu next month, so I'm really looking forward to going there again. The president may not remember me (lol)...but I'm looking forward to the day when I can drink draft beer at Tsuriya again.

It’s an inconspicuous little shop, and the food is cheap and delicious. Everything costs 380 yen for the most part. After ordering, the boss will give you free side dishes, which is really nice. In addition, the waiter will not stop pouring the wine until it is full. It’s so funny😄
