Otsu, Shiga, Japan｜Yaotora

Food was excellent here. Atmosphere is very vintage Japanese. No one speak any English except the owner, which spoke very little. We lost something when we left and came back to look for it. The staff were very helpful and spent extra effort looking for it. Hand picking through the trash and giving us gloves to do it. They were rotating turns to help us. Wow! Highly recommended! The food of course, not digging the trash.

Super Excellent service. Very friendly staffs. Variety of foods and beverages. No English menu but Male staff can understand fair English. Parking nearby . I forgot my stuff at the restaurant and went back within 30 mins, staffs genuinely helped searching even they were very busy with all seats occupied and finally found. Appreciated

No English menu but the hot soba noodles and beef skewers were great. Can’t go wrong with katsudon either
