The main street next to it is full of tourists, but there are almost no tourists in this store. They are all locals or can speak Japanese. It just smells so good! Not an ordinary restaurant at all, it's a gastronomic adventure! First of all, the place is cool. It feels like walking into an ancient secret base. It has a special feeling. Mainly bar-like seats. To be honest, it looks a bit dirty. But their menu is simply genius level. I have tried many Osaka specialties and every dish is a surprise. There were some things I had never heard of, but it was eye-opening after trying them. The taste is particularly unique and full of creativity. The service is also very good. The waiters are very friendly and will patiently explain the ins and outs of each dish. Moreover, the wine list is also great, including beer, red wine, Japanese sake, etc. You can try a variety of wines. Good and cheap local Japanese food. Had the okonomiyaki, Yaki soba, Kushikatsu, vegetable soup and some appetisers. The ambience is very homely and the chef and local patrons are very friendly. Would recommend if you are looking for a local authentic experience, instead of the more touristy stalls.

This is the best restaurant in the area with affordable and unpretentious food. They sell Kushikatsu, yakisoba, okonomiyaki and all the other works. A 50 year old establishments that is family owned and run. The beautiful lady boss speaks Chinese fluently and we became good friends. I was going there everyday really because of her, the good affordable food, the charming interior and the wonderful regulars whom I became friends with. You really cannot beat a cozy environment like this. Do note that they sell out quite early.
