We stumbled upon this charming hole in a wall as we were desperately trying to find a peaceful yet delicious sit down meal away from the hectic Dotonbori area. This place was magnificent. Each dish was meticulously thought out and delicately presented. The Chef / Owner was friendly and wanted to make sure we were taken care of. The black beef from Kagoshima was better than most of the Kobe and Wagu beef we had been indulging in Osaka and Kyoto. Stellar experience! Thank you for the hospitality Chef!

Walked in on a Sunday night after a google maps search. No wait, able to walk straight in by one of the lovely servers. What an excellent meal. Getting to sit in front of the chefs window as he cooked led to some fun interactions and further explanations. He had a joyful personality. English menu is available. We spent about 97k¥ for two people with alcohol and food. Has about 10 bench seats and two booths. Servers are attentive and share the same vibe as chef. Would highly recommend and definitely would go again!

Wow! Everything that came out was superb, especially loved the sashimi platter, sweet corn tempura, their version of sukiyaki, and the pork with homemade miso sauce 😋😋😋 accommpanied with yummy highballs and sake and friendly service and smiles from the owner and staff. Initially went around & around finding this place but was worth it!! And then the owner who prepares the dishes even showed us out and gave free stickers for his restaurant! Arigato!!
