Osaka, Japan｜Wasai-chubo Katura

We made a reservation on Tabelog the day before. We ordered the 8,500 yen set course. It came with sashimi, steak, small appetizers, soba, salmon, and more. Everything was delicious and the staff was so kind. We were able to communicate through translator apps. They were nice enough to write out all the dishes in English for us so we could know what we were eating. I highly recommend stopping by here for an authentic Japanese meal. Service and food 10/10!

This might be the best restaurant I’ve ever been, food wise. Everything we ordered tastes amazing. Literally nothing was bad. And the presentation was great. All of the dishes look pretty! The price was reasonable. Definitely worth it! This is our last night in Osaka. I was worried that the place won’t accept us because we’re foreigners and we didn’t make a reservation. Luckily, we got in. I’m very glad that my boyfriend chose this place😁😁😁😁😁 I’ll always remember the food here. Especially the juicy steak.

Great little neighborhood restaurant. Friendly staff. Good Japanese seafood. Nice relaxed and diverse clientele. Updating this review with some photos after the recent interior renovations taken October 2017. Same great food and staff. They have a handwritten sheet they can bring out translating kanji for different types of fish that can help foreigners with the menu.
