Osaka, Japan｜Zauo Fishing Restaurant

Had an incredible time at this restaurant located to east of central Osaka. The restaurant has a unique concept where diners must catch their own meal of fish using a rod and bait provided. Once caught, diners have the option of cooking the fish into 2 different dishes such as for example a soup dish or deep fried. I would highly recommend the flounder and brim, they were incredible. Service was also amazing!

Very interesting restaurant and experience! The kids had a blast catching a few fish for us to eat. Naturally the fish was incredibly fresh and delicious. Lots of different menu options including plenty of things for those in our group that didn't care for seafood. Would absolutely go back for more!

Was such a fun experience! Prices are decent especially when you get to eat a whole fish! Can have it cooked in various ways - sashimi 1/2 and fried the other. Was absolutely fresh and delicious. Many different types of seafood to choose from and accompaniments. Highly recommend to experience a new way to dine!
