If you're going to an izakaya in Yao, I definitely recommend Izakaya Taiyo! ️ I've been coming here for decades since it first opened, and I still go there two or three times a week. The atmosphere is a popular izakaya with a Showa-era feel, and it is by no means a clean bar (lol). However, the freshness of the sashimi and the lovingly prepared dishes prepared by the master are truly delicious. The prices are reasonable, and I think it's truly the best izakaya in Yao.
