Shijonawate, Osaka, Japan｜Santen Shijonawate

Santen is a tempura specialty restaurant located along the national highway in Shijonawate City, Osaka Prefecture. I stumbled across it on my way home from Kadoma City for work, and asked a local business partner to stop by for lunch. My favorite chain store, there are quite a few when I come to western Japan, so I stop by and use them. The day before yesterday, I had chicken tempura rice bowls in Uji, Kyoto for two days in a row. I discovered a menu called four kinds of pork tempura bowl eaten with special sauce. It was perfect for my mood today, so I ordered it from the ticket vending machine. 690 yen including tax. My partner had a large Grand Slam tempura set meal, 840 yen. I had a service ticket, so I had a large serving of rice. It took quite some time to deliver. A bowl of rice is quite a volume. Certainly not the usual tempura sauce. It took sauce. There were four types of vegetable heaven, and the delicious pork heaven was thin fillet and cheese. As usual, I ate it with shichimi and free pickles. Pretty good! It seems that the business partner had never been there, and he seemed to like it, so I gave him a service ticket. I'm going back to my hometown. I won't be able to use it for a while, but I've started receiving LINE coupons again, so I'd like to use it when I come to western Japan again. The customer service and greetings were bright and polite. I was very satisfied and thank you for the meal.

Santen's tempura bowl is really the best value for money, and it's always delicious, but the tempura at this store is really delicious! The crispy batter and deep-fried shrimp tempura are really wonderful✨ Other stores don't have such a crispy feeling. In particular, the Horagatoge store is terrible, the clothes are soggy, and the shrimp tempura is half-baked, causing heartburn. The atmosphere inside the store is also contrasting, the Shijonawate store is bright and the employees are polite and lively, but the Horagatoge store is the exact opposite and has a dark atmosphere. If you have the chance, please try to eat at both stores and compare!

After a long time, I went to lunch before entering Shijonawate Aeon Mall. Ordered shrimp tempura udon. Since tempura is the main dish here, I honestly didn't expect the taste of udon, but I was surprised that the udon was chewy and the soup stock was delicious. It may be better than the Japanese food Satono Tempura Udon.
