Toyonaka, Osaka, Japan｜Hyakuban

Local Izakaya in Senri-chuo and therefore not far from home. Food isn't gourmet but tasty and fun none the less. The decor is old and worn, the surfaces battered but clean and the atmosphere is smoky, but bad, fun and casual. One of the few places where you won't see so many white faces. Tori Karaage, Kushikatsu Moriawase, Tuna Tekkamaki, reasonable Gyoza, Daikon Salad with Ume dressing, salt squid, a couple of other dishes and three Suntory Hiballs were less than US 50. Good, easy fun evening out.

Had a nice time with friends. Good food for a reasonable price.

Used for lunch before going to Expo Park, the staff was polite and quick, and the set meal menu changed daily, and there was also a Western set meal that children would be happy with. It was delicious!
