Takatsuki, Osaka, Japan｜蕗の薹

The table was gorgeous with Jerusalem artichoke flowers, and we had delicious drinks.

2-3 minutes walk to the north side of Hankyu Takatsukishi Station They have a great selection of sake and are good value for money. I think it's recommended to drink alone at this small restaurant run by a couple. Today's number one is Daishinshu!

It's a 3-minute walk from the station, and there's a signboard only at the entrance of the building, so it might be a little hard to find, but I went up the stairs and was on the second floor. It's a small space with 5 or 6 seats at the counter and 1 table, and appears to be occupied by a couple. For the time being, I relaxed with beer and Gindara, and the master and mother were very friendly and personable, so I felt safe even when I was alone. Many of the sakes are local, and the snacks and meals that go well with them are delicious! I ended up staying too long, but I went home feeling pleasantly drunk.
