Very nice izakaya that is accommodating to foreigners. They serve great beer that is served in frozen mugs and the food is fresh and delicious although the english menu does not contain all of the extensive menu so make sure to ask the friendly staff on their recommendations. Would love to visit again once I come back to Arashiyama! Try ordering grilled tuna at mutsukama!

Great food , one of my best meals in Japan for this trip . Great value of money . Totally recommend mabo tofu . Very nice staff , foreign friendly

great food and even better prices. definitely try their garlic fried rice. PS: You might need to book a table earlier. They were fully booked around 7pm when we stopped by for the 2nd time.
