Highly recommend! Fresh ingredients grilled with interesting flavour combinations. The standout for the meal was the dessert: black sesame ice cream served with anko (sweet red bean paste). The atmosphere was great, you can really tell the staff have passion for what they do, work well together and enjoy each other's company. Really good vibe. Setup of the restaurant is also stunning with the seats at the bar.

I don’t understand the negative reviews We just enjoyed the best meal we’ve had in Japan. Hind, courteous, helpful service. The chefs were a delight and were clearly enjoying their work — greeting all new customers, preparing the delicious and fresh food in plain view, and cheerfully wishing a pleasant goodbye to those who were leaving. Such beautiful ppl, such beautiful food. If I lived here, I’d be here at least once a week.

An absolutely fantastic meal in Kyoto. Service was attentive and super smiley. Plenty of vegetarian options (majority of the menu is vegetarian) which were all superb - food is farm to table style and it shows! Highly recommend the option to try whatever the chef wants to serve -they know best! Would have gone back every night we were in Kyoto if there weren’t other things to try.
