I want to give a 10-star to the chef and to this restaurant. Every dish shows the chef’s wholehearted dedication into gastronomy. I felt very lucky to bring my friends here and experience the first meal in Japan. Will definitely come back to Nara for this place!

After checking into the hotel in Nara, I made a reservation for Koryori Nara. I barely slipped into the last group. Cozy with 9 counter seats and 1 table seat, It is a small restaurant that only offers omakase. Awesome! ! I visited here after being told about it by the proprietress of a bar near Kintetsu Nara Station. When I told the taxi driver the name of the restaurant, he recognized it right away. It seems to be a popular store. The driver said he had never been here before, but he had transported customers many times, so he said he had to come at least once. A taxi from the station costs about 1,200 yen. It's far from the center and in a residential area, so unless you're very familiar with Nara, you won't know about this place. It's a small shop with a counter and a table that seats four people, and when we visited, the owner was running it all by himself. The store is by no means gorgeous or fashionable. A place to eat delicious food and drink delicious alcohol. I like the fact that there's no clunky BGM, which makes it even more likable. Only omakase is available for ordering. About 12 dishes are served at a good pace, including appetizers, sashimi, vinegared dishes, simmered dishes, and fried dishes. Each item is a masterpiece of creative Japanese cuisine that is full of delicious flavor and has been carefully prepared and put to work. Whatever you have, it's delicious. I feel very satisfied eating all the elaborate and stylish dishes. I had a local sake from Nara, which was also good. What's more, it is served in a large sake bottle that can hold more than one serving. Enough to drink. And the bill was surprisingly reasonable. The customer in front of us even told the owner that he thought it would be okay to pay more. Actually, it's a famous restaurant that I want to make into a hidden gem in Nara that I don't want other people to know about. Although it is far from the station, it is worth visiting even if you pay for a taxi. If you come to Nara, have dinner here❢❢
