We had to come for the chicken sashimi and the restaurant turned out to be one of the best japanase restaurants. It was quite challenging for us as we didn't speak Japanese, but the local customers were amazingly friendly and helpful. All the dishes were incredibly delicious. The owner proudly does chicken dishes and you would never fail I reckon! Im studying a bit of Japanese and going back tomorrow! He may be uncomfortable with foreigners, but hey, he knows what he is doing. Everything is bloody good. The best hidden spot!

A small grill restaurant with one chef who does everything. Chicken liver with salt is insanely good. Chicken breast sashimi is very lightly grilled. Chicken meatballs, chicken skin with garlic, or just thigh meat. You cannot go wrong with this place it seems.

We have been there looking for the taste of Nara this night. The locals helped us with ordering. Fresh chicken abd chicken livers are amazing. The boss was a bit serious with his cooking, but haha, so he is just shy. The locals are talktive although they barely speak of English. Lovely people lovely food.
