My girlfriend and I had an amazing time eating here tonight! We feasted on an assortment of affordable and delicious food, and enjoyed sake and tea at great prices. The owners were so kind and welcoming, and we ended up singing karaoke with them and the regulars. Such a wonderful end to our day in Nara :)

Great home cooked food and reasonably cheap for what you get. Lunch was a set meal complete with salad and soup prepared by two friendly ladies.

This restaurant was a dream travel experience. We walked in thinking it was just a restaurant, but we quickly made friends with the hosts and the other customers, and ended up singing karaoke, drinking great local sake and eating cheap, tasty food for ages.
