Wow what a find! Unassuming place when you step in and sit at the tatami tables. The master stands behind a row of sake pots. There is not a lick of English in sight but no matter. They will make you the best food you have (probably?) experienced in Japan. I suggest to order “Kampachi” (thick and exquisite sashimi) and “Hamburger steak” (a massive ground pork meatball, or ‘Klops’ in German). Try some sake tapped from big clay pots. A super experience.

The staff were also kind, and when I was confused about the menu, they gave me recommendations and ways to eat. The service is courteous, and the rice is plentiful and delicious. I was able to enjoy a drink in a relaxed atmosphere. This is my favorite shop!

Today, I ate boiled beef Achilles tendon. It was melty and delicious! Filled with collagen, your skin looks beautiful (^O^)
