This place is a gem right off the main Fushimi otesuji shopping street. The inside decor oozes style, with inspiration from the Thai beach of the same name. The owner is super friendly, even to foreigners who don't speak Japanese past a few phrases. There is an English menu. Everything I had was delicious and I'm a bit surprised at how good everything was, all being prepared in a small kitchen by the owner. Wild. Please come here.

Came here looking for a place to drink close to my house. Not only was the food delicious but the design was very stylish! The walls are covered with various movie posters and the ceilings have illustrations drawn by some of the workers. A lot of seating inside and outside, with a cute tent to sit on the floor and drink in! There was no wait on a Wednesday night and the owner was very friendly and enjoyed chatting with me and my husband. There’s ENGLISH descriptions for everything they sell, and there’s a “tourist friendly” sign on the door. The food was delicious Japanese Izakaya style and they also sell Thai beer. Will definitely return :)
