Good food and friendly owners. Enjoyed the rice and grilled pork as well. Also recommend the sake flight.

Happened to walk past the other evening and was able to get 2 seats. Chef-owner Hashimoto san’s culinary skills are exceptional, and the service and ambience matched the excellent food. Only complaint is that it is difficult to get a seat!

As the name of the restaurant suggests, the ``earthen pot rice'' is the best! This is a shop I always visit when I go to Kyoto.
