I don't usually write reviews, but I was heartbroken to see such a bad review written about my favorite restaurant, so I'd like to write one to show my usual gratitude. I've been to this restaurant about 5 times now, and my impression is that it's an izakaya that specializes in seafood, serving high-quality sashimi at reasonable prices. As the store name includes the word ``Tsuri'', the manager is a hobbyist and is very knowledgeable about fishing. Currently, his only days off are Mondays and Tuesdays, so he doesn't seem to be able to go every week, but he still has an aesthetic eye honed through many years of fishing experience, so the fish he buys are average. Seafood bars can't compete with this. The way the meat is cut is thick and I can confidently recommend it to everyone! Also, the manager is friendly and if you can sit at the counter, he will talk to you unless it's busy hours (18:00-21:00). The manager is the only one in charge of the kitchen, so it looks busy during busy times, and at those times I look at the fish in the showcase and decide which one to eat. lol At first glance, she may seem like a difficult person, but on the inside, she's a really warm person. (This is just my personal opinion from one customer, so please understand that I may have made some mistakes.) ① Regarding the matter of sashimi The store is completely correct in this regard. I don't think they do sashimi. The staff often responds by saying, "We don't do sashimi-mori," and I've also been refused orders. However, if you order multiple pieces of sashimi (e.g. amberjack and salmon) at the same time, they will bring them to you on the same plate, so perhaps people mistook the picture for a sashimi platter. The portions don't get smaller, they just come out at the same time, so I think it's good to be able to compare them, and I think it's reasonable! ②About air conditioning This may depend on the person, but I think it would have been better to just tell the staff that if it was cold, it would be cold. I have experienced it both at the counter and at the table, and some customers had their air conditioners turned up, and the staff responded quickly. However, I have never been so concerned about the air conditioning. lol ③ Monitoring of staff? about Maybe this has something to do with the size of the store? It's a very small store, with only 6 seats at the counter on the first floor and 3 tables on the second floor, so on busy days like Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, there are two staff members, so it's true that you may feel very close to each other. However, it would be ridiculous to describe this as monitoring by staff, as there are probably many things that staff have to keep track of, such as whether there are any new orders or empty plates. If you've ever worked there, you can probably imagine that, and I've never actually noticed the store clerk's eyes on me. In fact, it makes me smile that I'm working hard. ④Regarding the fact that the product arrived cold. If you've actually visited the store, you'll probably notice right away that the products are made to order, and the staff takes them to you as soon as they're ready. Even if food accumulates, the kitchen will be crowded, and food will not be left behind and not delivered. As for the counter, you can receive it from the store manager by hand even if there is no clerk, so there is a low possibility that it will be cold. I think there were a number of ways to deal with it, such as telling the store clerk or reporting it to the store manager, even if it was cold. ⑤About travel support coupons I live in Kyoto myself, and I haven't had the opportunity to use it at a fishing shop, so I can't comment too much on it, but it's not a high-end shop, but rather a reasonable one. I used it with 3 of my subordinates at work. We were shown to the counter and the meal took about an hour and a half. The store has a counter on the 11th floor and table seats on the 2nd floor, and was crowded with customers even though it was a weekday. The fish sashimi is very thick and you can't get it at other restaurants. You can feel quite satisfied and enjoy the deliciousness of the fish. Another feature is that they have a very large menu. The menu looks like a book, and you can choose one item from a wide variety of menus. As someone like me who orders a lot, it's very exciting. Steamed clams with sake is highly recommended. The garlic has a strong effect and the chili pepper accent is sure to get you addicted 👍 We also have a selection of Japanese sake, so I think it's perfect for those who drink alcohol. Best of all, three people can enjoy a Kyoto meal at such a reasonable price that it's hard to believe that you're paying for a large number of items and alcohol. This is a store that I would definitely recommend.

I used it for the first time just the other day. First of all, the sashimi is amazing! Especially the yellowtail was big and delicious! The manager humbly said that the restaurant doesn't have much to offer other than fish, but the other dishes are also delicious. My recommendation is kokkuri ni. The pork is very tender and goes well with alcohol. Inside the store, there is a counter on the first floor and table seats on the second floor. Other people's reviews said that it was narrow, but I actually like that. The seats are close together, so it's great to be able to chat with other customers around you. Since I was at the counter on the first floor, the manager was friendly and talked to me, so I had a great time. As the name Tsuriya suggests, the manager seemed to be a bit of an idiot about fishing, so he talked about it and told me about good fishing spots. It seems that the child working part-time is not used to it, but I'm glad he was so charming.
