Incredible experience. This is the real deal yakitori. My husband and I could not get over how outstanding everything was. You must get the garlic chicken, spicy pork belly, chicken wings and grilled rice. MUST make a reservation. Reserve in advance!! Super casual spot but so worth it. A must try in a Kyoto and the chef is incredible.

This place is amazing and tourist friendly. They have Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean menu. The chef is funny and the food is great. You need to make reservations because this place gets busy.

It was our last night in Kyoto and we were SO LUCKY to get a seat here as a walk-in customer (someone didn't show up for their booking - their loss, our gain!!). It's a very small yakitori restaurant with one chef and one waitstaff/helper. They had an english menu with photos to show you what you are getting, which really helped. Very welcoming and lively atmosphere. Everything we ordered was tasty, juicy, tender and had yummy crispy edges. We ended our stay here in Kyoto on such a high note. Beautiful food and great memories to take home with us!
