Just happened upon this yakiniku shop. The meat given is adequate, and the price is reasonable. Ventilation is surprisingly good, given the location.

Great beef (wagyu - you choose which cuts you'd like) and good service. Grilling your own meat at the table makes for a unique dining experience.

Very cozy place, a few steps outside Kyoto station
