Kinda small, old building and scary at first but it looked cool inside and the food is great.

Super cheap but extremely delicious Okonomiyaki. The food was cooked in front of you and the were very fast. I want to go back!

On a Thursday lunchtime when every other restaurant in Kita-Umeda appeared to be closed, Tekomai saved us! It’s a typical, unremarkable place, but the food was fantastic. The menu is Japanese only, and the staff don’t speak English, but don’t be too put off by that - we used Google Translate and were easily able to communicate. We had steak, which was tender and delicious, and pork with ginger. You can help yourself to as much rice as you like, meaning it’s a delicious, cost effective lunch. 5 stars for value for money.
