Osaka, Japan｜Rikyu

Best meal in Osaka. I have eaten at plenty of Michelin star restaurants and excellent restaurants in Tokyo and Kyoto and this was up there. The nine course omikase meal was outstanding in visual presentation, taste combinations and use of seasonal ingredients. Creative but never exaggerated. Serious science and art. The service was excellent and the wonderful woman working there explained the nine courses using google translation and good will. I would make it my first stop on my next trip to Osala. Also the price was more than reasonable, a bargain.

Extremely underrated. Meal is super good!! Must get your local friend or hotel to book since they speak little English. If I could rate 6 stars I would. Expect different flavours from every dish!! Dish changes everyday too apparently.
