We had a superb dinner today. Known, well prepared dishes, but also fancy and - for us - unknown creations. The staff was utmost polite. And we also had a nice chat with our seating neighbours. Was a great pick, I truly recommend this venue and would visit it again.

The food is delicate, can see the chef has put many thoughts into each dish. The scent and taste of ingredients sparks, opening the gate to a new sensation of gustation.

An outstanding place in the middle of Kyoto. This restaurant presents the essence of high-end food in its real and simplest way - pure taste. If you use the very best produce available in the country, there is no need to destroy or over-blend its taste with spices. You will get a chance to taste the essence of each product they use. No matter if fish, meat or vegetable. Close your eyes, taste and enjoy. If you are looking for a big steak with lots of salt and pepper on top and topped with 300gram of processed cheese,... please go somewhere else. This is a sensational place for people who appreciate pure natural taste. We love this place and will be back every year we visit. 5 stars.
