Kyoto, Japan｜Saami

Made an impromptu reservation and came as soon as a seat was available. I don’t eat much kaiseki, but overall I am quite satisfied, but those who come at night can only enjoy the night view of Kyoto in the distance. The courtyard is elegant and the interior is exquisite. Every dish is very attentive, regardless of the dish and taste. The service is also very traditional, and the kimono is very beautiful.

We had an amazing experience at Saami during a weekend in Kyoto. The building is beautiful and located in a gorgeous park. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. And the food was absolutely amazing. It was our first Kaiseki experience, and every course was delicious. We went for lunch, and it was the perfect amount of food. We had our own room, which was nice because we could talk about some of the crazy (but always tasty!) food. I would definitely recommend it, and would go back again!

Was here for dinner. As you walk into the compound, you will be greeted by a lady on a flute. Service is excellent. Food is top notch. You may wish you note that price is on the high side. However, you pay for quality. Recommended if you have spare.
