Kaiseki at its finest where food is an art form. We enjoy every moment at Ueno. The food was exquisite, the attention to details immaculate. The oweners/chef are very courteous. All dishes were explained with google translate app that helps a lot. Better reserve a day in advance as we found out when we got there that they also have a shabu shabu set but it's too late to change. We were very happy with what we got though. :)

Even thought we entered the restaurant without reservation and was just looking for a place to eat , it was our best luck , staff were super friendly, food was great and unique by every mean, great presentation , highly recommended , specially for those who are looking for a traditional Kyoto cuisine and ok to take the challenge
