Kyoto, Japan｜Kumahiko

After exploring the bamboo forest at Arashiyama we wanted lunch and came here for their kaiseki menu. I had the 7 course tofu kaiseki menu. Each dish was beautifully presented and the flavors were delicate and delicious. Service is very good but English is very limited. If you're lucky or make reservations there are tables outside with a view of the river. I believe my kaiseki was about $55.

Great stop for a nice kiseki lunch at arashiyama. The price has gone up, its at 5000 yen right now, but it's totally worth it! We had the tofu kiseki lunch, and I really liked their tofu soup!

A nice, quiet and high standard restaurant with fair price among the crowded shops. Highly recommended.
