Kyoto, Japan｜Ramen Sen-no-Kaze Kyoto

We came here for lunch on our first day in Kyoto however the wait was almost 2 hours. We decided to come before they opened the next day so we didn’t have to wait as long. We are so glad we did that because the food is so beautiful. All the flavours are really delicate and come together so well. It is the best ramen I have ever had. We had the most popular ramen with locals on the menu. I want to go back and have it again. I also really enjoyed watching the two chefs in the kitchen prepare all the food. It was like a show, everything so well rehearsed. Methodical. And so relaxed. P.S. for anyone looking to limit their wait time. We arrived at 11am for their 11:30am opening time. We were the second group there so we went as soon as they opened. Time flies!

I really love this place and i totally reccomend to go! I had to wait one hour because is very small, i think there are 10 seat inside no more, but the quality of the food the service and the price are really good! The menu has many choices and you can take the menu with gyoza!I love the atmosphere, it so intimate, created also by the 20’s music, for me it’s important everything even the location and if you are like me you have to go!

If you have more than 4 persons in front of you don't wait, you have other ramen shops with the same quality right next door. The restaurant only manages to seat around 6 persons on the counter plus 4/5 on the tables. !Cash only! Tasty food and good prices, since it is a trip advisor recommended place there isn't too many locals for a true ramen shop experience.
